The evidence package per case

Every documented finding is secured so it stays traceable in court and towards platforms.

Fields

  • Platform, profile link and ad library ID
  • Period during which the ad was active
  • Full screenshot (original, not blurred)
  • Ad text verbatim
  • Page creation date, follower count at time of finding
  • Status of the report to the platform

Formats

  • PDF report with all fields, signed with a C2PA provenance credential
  • JSON export for your case management software
  • Original screenshots as PNG

Chain of custody

  • Timestamps (UTC) for finding, capture and report
  • SHA-256 hash of every file, listed in the report
  • Every later change creates a new entry, nothing is overwritten
